Jaclyn Smith went on Rachael Ray’s show on October 12th of 2010. Smith is obviously known as a beautiful and fashionable woman. One of the things she did while on the show was ambush unsuspecting shoppers for a makeover.

She walked up to a K-Mart shopper named Mary and said, “Hi there.” The 58 year old Mary immediately recognized her and was quite excited. Smith then asked Mary about her shopping trip. Mary said she was looking for something for Saturday for a garden wedding. Smith proceeded to ask Mary if she would like a mini-makeover, and Mary agreed right away.

Smith said she prefers interchangeable separates over ensembles because she feels they are younger and freer. Mary then walked out with a purple top accented by a white sweater. She also had a gray skirt with black leggings.

While Jaclyn said this outfit had all the elements she likes, she wasn’t crazy about the purple top matched with the skirt. She didn’t like this combination because she felt like it shortened the appearance of Mary’s body.

After professional help with her hair and makeup, Jaclyn brings Mary out to look at herself. She is instantly blown away when she sees how good she looks. Her outfit is a simple black top accented by a pink scarf. She also had a black skirt and black heels. Mary said she absolutely loved how she looked and Smith agreed.

Mary was absolutely thrilled with her look and thanked Jaclyn multiple times as she hugged her. She went on to say she felt Smith had taken at least ten years off her appearance.
