Over the course of the years, the long time career of Jaclyn Smith has gathered important roles in famous productions and all sorts of other successful ventures, which have solidified her name in the industry. The first appearance that Jaclyn Smith has ever made in a film was in 1969, when she played a small wedding guest extra role, in the film Goodbye Columbus. After this. came many productions, both in film and for television, that have consolidated her career and turned her into a famous Hollywood name. The roles that made Jaclyn Smith a household name are: Kelly Garrett (in the Charlie’s Angels series, from 1976 until 1981), Elena Scheider (in The Users, in 1978), Katherine Atwell (in Nightkill, in 1980), Jacqueline Kennedy (in Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, in 1981), Marie St. Jacques (in The Bourne Identity, in 1988), Kelly Garrett (in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in 2003), Vanessa Cavanaugh (in The District, from 2002 until 2004) and so on.

Jaclyn Smith received many honors in connection to her roles and to the image that she managed to create and to portray in front of her audiences. Due to her amazing good looks and beauty, Jaclyn Smith was very often placed on lists made by magazines as one of the gorgeous women of the entertainment industry. Some of the honors that were issued to Jaclyn Smith for her appearance are: “The World’s Best Dressed Woman” by Mr. Blackwell and “Whose Face Most Women Would Like to Have” by McCall’s in 1979. These two categories come to show just how much the audiences loved her natural beauty and that she was taken as a role model by many women. In addition to these honors, Jaclyn Smith was also once called the “Queen of the Miniseries”, due to the fact that she has gain more televised appearances than any other Hollywood actress. In 1985, McCall’s issued another honor in her name, that for being one of “America’s 10 Best Bodies”. People magazine also placed Jaclyn Smith on their lists for “Most Beautiful People in the World” and one of the “Ten Great Faces of Our Time”.
